THE GALLEYRebrand and Web Refresh
The Galley created the original workstation sink for kitchens, and they're one of the only sink manufacturers employing artisan welders to craft each product like a custom order. The brand needed help standing out from copycats that treat craftsmanship like a buzzword.
I co-led market research and brand strategy. Then, I developed messaging and web strategies to defend the brand’s luxury position.
Market Research
I did a deep dive into competitor branding to map white space, identifying key moats to amplify in our branding efforts.
Brand Strategy
As a category creator developing premium products, we developed a Ruler brand for The Galley. This approach influenced everything from the industry professionals included in the brand’s target audience to the types of content on the website.
Luxury isn’t the absence of effort, it’s the absence of compromise.
I developed a messaging strategy to signal The Galley’s high-end approach to life in the kitchen. Where other brands emphasized low-level benefits like efficiency, The Galley would speak to more aspirational qualities like togetherness and purpose.
